Dr. Sara Oedekoven, otherwise known as “Dr. O”, was born and raised in Wyoming. She grew up fascinated by biology and anatomy. She went to the University of Wyoming to earn her bachelor’s degree, then went on to Colorado State University to complete her veterinary degree in 2004. Dr. O enjoys the diversity of disciplines and tasks that come with the veterinary profession: surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, etc. There’s never a dull moment in a vet clinic!

Hayley Wright, DVM,
Dr. Hayley Wright earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming. She has loved animals for as long as she can remember, but it was caring for her childhood Dachshund, who had numerous health challenges, that truly inspired her to become a veterinarian and help pets like him.
Dr. Wright especially enjoys surgery and has always had a particular interest in neurologic cases. What she loves most about veterinary medicine is seeing the incredible bond between people and their pets. She finds it especially rewarding to be part of a profession where every day brings something new, while working alongside a team of people who share the same passion for caring for animals and serving the community.
At home, Dr. Wright has five dogs and two axolotls, so life is never short on furry (or aquatic!) companions. Her favorite animal is the wolf, and her dream destinations include Germany, Scotland, and Ireland, where she hopes to explore historic castles and landmarks. When she’s away from the clinic, she enjoys photography and capturing the beauty of the world around her.

Bridget Michalko, DVM
Dr. Brie is a passionate new veterinarian who recently joined the team at Broadmoor East. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University after completing her undergraduate studies at Utah State University, and she has dreamed of being a veterinarian for as long as she can remember.
Her professional interests include surgery and ophthalmology, and she finds the most reward in building strong relationships with pets and their people. Dr. Brie loves feeling like she makes a difference in the lives of the animals she cares for, and she is most excited about growing from a new graduate into a seasoned veterinarian alongside the supportive team at Broadmoor East.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Brie shares her life with her two dogs, Frankie, a Husky/Pitbull mix, and Vi, a 2-year-old Boxer/Pitbull mix, as well as her 15-year-old Appendix mare, Hadley. She is a lifelong dog lover, enjoys traveling (her dream vacation is a tour through Europe), and is passionate about art.
Dr. Brie brings a warm, caring approach to veterinary medicine, and she looks forward to getting to know the pets and families in our community.

Michele Albert, DVM
Dr. Michele Albert earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming. Her passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age as she watched veterinarians save the lives of animals, inspiring her to pursue a career where she could make that same difference for pets and their families.
Dr. Albert has a special interest in internal medicine and is passionate about treating the whole patient—addressing both medical and behavioral health while strengthening the human-animal bond. She finds the greatest reward in helping pets maintain and improve their quality of life, allowing them to enjoy more happy, healthy years with the people who love them.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Albert and her family stay busy breeding, raising, and showing Arabian Cow Horses and Sport Horses. Their home is shared with 18 horses, three dogs, and several barn cats. She also enjoys traveling to national parks and wilderness areas, gardening, and exploring her family’s genealogy.
