Due to the growing risk of COVID-19 in our community, we have made some changes to the way we do business. These changes will help maintain the social distancing reccomendations of the CDC and WHO. Keeping our staff and doctors healthy enables us to remain open and available to care for sick and injured pets.
In order to protect the health and safety of our clients and our clinic staff, our lobby is closed as of 03/25/2020. We are still open for business, but all of our appointments and transactions will be conducted on a “curbside” basis. Read below for further details on curbside procedures for appointments, surgeries/dentals and prescription refills.
Appointments: Call our front desk at 307-634-2912 when you arrive for your pet’s appointment. A staff member will retrieve your pet from the car and bring them inside, so be sure that they are either in a carrier or on a leash. We will conduct your pet’s examination and treatments in the clinic while you wait in your vehicle. Our doctors and staff will communicate exam findings and respond to your questions and concerns by phone. Then, we will have you check out with a receptionist by phone with a credit or debit card (We can also obtain payment from you in the parking lot if you prefer to pay in cash or with a check).
Surgeries, Dentals, and Sedated Procedures: Before your pet’s surgery or dental appointment, please visit www.broadmooreast.com/client-forms and fill out an anesthetic (or dental) consent form. This helps eliminate any hand to hand contact, as well as saves time at check in. Please plan to drop your pet off between 7:30 and 8:30 AM. Call our receptionist when you arrive and we will send a staff member out to retrieve your pet from the car. After the surgery/procedure, we will call you to let you know how everything went, discuss homecare instructions and collect payment by phone. Most patients are discharged the same day as their procedure, between 3:00 and 5:00 pm.
Prescription Refills and Food: Please call ahead to place your order for your pet’s food or prescription refills. You can pre-pay by phone to make your pick up as quick and convenient as possible. Call when you arrive, and we will bring your order out to the car.
During this time, we do request that any clients that are exhibiting symptoms (fever, cough, etc) refrain from coming in, and instead either have a friend/family member bring their pet or reschedule the appointment.
